GENERAL HOSPITAL Anniversary Poll Results — Did Your Favorites Win?
It’s no April Fool’s joke — GENERAL HOSPITAL celebrated the 55th anniversary of its daytime debut on April 1! Although the long-running soap celebrated the milestone with a special episode that aired a couple days earlier, on March 30. But we thought why not keep the anniversary celebration going a little bit longer by posting the results of our special GH Anniversary Poll!
A couple weeks ago, we asked you, the loyal fans of GH, to vote on your all-time favorites in a variety of categories, and asked you to choose between heroes, heroines, bad boys, schemers, and villains. Now, here are the results of your voting! There were a few surprises, like one newer couple’s legion of devoted fans who were able to outvote some classic characters who just couldn’t compete. And the winner of “Favorite Heroine” wasn’t even close — although it’s not Laura, if that’s who you’re predicting won!
The closest race was in the “Saddest Death” category since there were more than a few heart-tugging storylines that fans remember making them cry buckets. Nathan’s recent demise was neck-and-neck with the classic tragedies of Stone and B.J., and one just narrowly eked out the victory when voting came to a close. But it was tight!
Page through the gallery below to see who emerged victorious in each category and how your favorites compared to the other options in the running!
