Even if your man — like Liz’s fiancé, Franco — used to have a brain tumor that turned him into a murderous psycho who thought nothing of making a woman (poor Sam) believe that he’d raped her, give him the benefit of the doubt.

That’s why, prior to going on strike with her fellow General Hospital nurses last year, level-headed Liz looked for an alternative solution. Only after weighing your options can you truly figure out which is the best one.

If Franco ever started exhibiting homicidal tendencies again, Liz would have no choice but to send him packing the way she did Lucky when his addiction became more than just a danger to him but to their family. (In retrospect, giving Lucky the heave-ho might have been the best thing Liz ever did for her then-husband, since it inspired him to get sober.)

You’d think that a mother would draw a long, deep line in the sand when it comes to murder. But Liz has never been one to tattle, whether on babydaddy Jason, who’s made a name for himself as Port Charles’ most-often-hired gun, or Nikolas, whose attempt to assassinate Hayden she kept a secret because it helped her keep a secret of her own.
