Who Could Play a Recast Nina on GENERAL HOSPITAL? — Here Are Some Suggestions!

Although the soap has declined to comment on any casting changes, that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating about who could play a Nina recast on GENERAL HOSPITAL and we figured why should you guys have all the fun?

Nina has gone through quite a few changes since Michelle Stafford first introduced the character back in May of 2014, going from obsessed psycho to loving mother with a little bit of high-powered businesswoman in between. And if the soap decides not to write out the character, there are plenty of talented actresses who could handle such a gig.

We run down a few of our top picks, including one actress who used to work with James Patrick Stuart (Valentin) back when he was playing Will Cortland on ALL MY CHILDREN, two actresses who have already played the same character (ANOTHER WORLD’s Lorna) and two who have already appeared on GH in the past. Hey — daytime is a strange place!

(Plus, she already has experience working with Stuart from her time on AMC!)

Although she hasn't been seen in daytime since her stint as a recast Lily for the last couple years of AS THE WORLD TURNS, ABC Daytime fans may remember Beck from her run as Trisha Alden on LOVING. This is one actress who knows how to play a strong female character, and we'd love to see her going toe to toe with Stuart's Valentin!

Although most of her work has been in primetime, Coppola got her start playing Lorna on ANOTHER WORLD back in the early '90s, and returned to daytime in 2016 with a recurring role as prison doctor Meredith Gates on Y&R. Equally beautiful and talented, we think she'd fit right into Port Charles society!

Okay, bear with us here — Yes, Christopher has appeared on GH before. Her AMC character of Skye Chandler crossed over to OLTL before eventually landing on GH for many years. But if the soap can bring former Carly Tamara Braun back as Kim, why not ask the fans to accept Christopher as Nina instead of Skye? (That's not her only daytime alter ego, though — she took over the role of AW's Lorna from Coppola!)
