Happy Birthday to Jack Wagner — Relive His Classic Soap Moments!
Please join us in sending best wishes to daytime star Jack Wagner, who is celebrating his birthday today! The talented musician became famous to soap fans when he debuted as Frisco Jones on GENERAL HOSPITAL in 1983. He played the character on and off throughout the ‘80s and ‘90s, reprising the popular role for a series of episodes in 2013 as the soap celebrated 50 years on the air.

Wagner also played Warren Lockridge on NBC’s SANTA BARBARA from 1991 until the soap’s cancelation in 1993. In the late ‘90s, he moved to primetime, playing Peter Burns on Aaron Spelling’s hit sudser, MELROSE PLACE. In 2003, Wagner joined the cast of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL as Nick Marone, a role he played for nearly a decade, and which earned him a Daytime Emmy Nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in 2005.
Currently, Wagner can be seen playing Bill Avery on the Hallmark Channel series WHEN CALLS THE HEART as well as in the series of Hallmark Channel Wedding March movies. The fifth, Wedding March 5: My Boyfriend’s Back, premiered in June of 2019.
