GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Emma Samms Honored by Queen Elizabeth — See the Photos!

Daytime veteran Emma Samms (ex-Holly, GENERAL HOSPITAL) met Queen Elizabeth at a special reception at Buckingham Palace where Samms was honored with the Member of the Order of the British Empire for her work with the Starlight foundation that grants wishes to seriously and terminally ill children throughout the UK!

“Obviously I was representing everyone who’s volunteered, worked for and supported Starlight,” the actress tweeted. “And can I just stress how incredible our Queen is? She stood for over an hour and gave every single one of us her focused attention.”

Former GH castmate Tristan Rogers (ex-Robert) joked on Twitter, “Hey babe congratulations. I have another hundred years or so before I get mine.”

“I’m still over the moon,” Samms confessed on Twitter.
