GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Emme Rylan Reveals How Her Broken Nose Will Affect Her Job!

Fans of GENERAL HOSPITAL were concerned when Emme Rylan (Lulu) revealed she had broken her nose, but now the actress has offered an update on her condition and how it will affect her work on the soap!

Luckily, Rylan injured herself during a time when she wouldn’t have been working on GH anyway. “I have surgery Thursday morning,” she reported on Twitter, “but because of already scheduled dark weeks, I will not be taking time off from work.”

She also offered up some more details as to how exactly her four-year-old son, Levi, managed to injure her so severely! “My son was running to jump on a cushion I was on,” she revealed. “I sat up just as he jumped and his head broke my nose! Taken down by a four year old!”

While the injury sounds severe, Rylan is grateful that the surgery won’t leave any scars on her face. “The break is bad,” she admitted, “and my nose is totally crooked! They are not making any incisions on the face, thank goodness!”

It sounds awful, and we hope she’s not in too much pain. And hopefully Rylan will be all healed up when she has to report back to the GH set so they don’t have to write the injury into Lulu’s storyline!
