CBS Daytime’s Sexiest Stars of the 2000s — Where Are They Now?

After B&B brought to an end William deVry’s late-2000s stint as the Logan sisters’ volatile brother, Storm — thus wasting abs that were meant to be displayed prominently around the Forresters’ pool — the daytime vet returned to primetime, where he already had under his belt big roles on such series as STARGATE SG-1 and NIKITA. Then, in 2013, he returned to soaps, resurrecting smooth criminal Julian Jerome on GENERAL HOSPITAL. 

No one can say that when Thad Luckinbill left his Y&R role of bad boy-turned-good guy J.T. Hellstrom, he never looked back. He returned to the soap that gave him his showbiz start to play another arc in 2017 (one that turned J.T. into a really bad guy!). In the meantime, though he continued to work steadily as an actor, he also branched out and started producing movies like the Oscar-nominated musical La La Land. 

Since spending a year on GL playing Ben Reade — a killer who put the “drop dead” in drop-dead gorgeous — Matt Bomer has worked non-stop in primetime (WHITE COLLAR, AMERICAN HORROR STORY) and movies (both Magic Mikes). Next up for the actor, who now recurs on WILL & GRACE, is the role of superhero Negative Man in the TITANS spin-off DOOM PATROL. 

Though Justin Torkildsen took home a Daytime Emmy during his five-year tenure as B&B’s Rick Forrester, he hasn’t appeared in front of the camera a whole lot since his exit. But according to his Instagram page, the actor, DJ and 100-percent certified hottie is “doing my own thing now.” He also advises via his page that if you “do the thing you fear… the death of fear is certain.” 

ATWT did more than bare Zach Roerig’s toned physique during his 2005-07 stint as Casey Hughes, the soap also revealed his talent. Both came in handy while he was spending eight seasons starring as Matt Donovan on the supernatural drama THE VAMPIRE DIARIES. So popular was the hunk that he’s even appeared on its newest spin-off, LEGACIES. 

Since being written off of Y&R as Bobby Marsino — the strip-club proprietor who fell for his main attraction — John Enos has guest starred on series such as GOTHAM and BLUE BLOODS — and popped up on DAYS as an Elvis impersonator, no less! 

Following a four-year run on ATWT as troubled boy next door Will Munson — for which he earned three Daytime Emmy nods — Jesse Soffer put behind him his status as a teenage dream to play Det. Jay Halstead on NBC’s CHICAGO FIRE offshoot, CHICAGO P.D. But the baby-faced head-turner still makes pulses race: Not only does his current role involve a lot of action, but he’s said to do his own stunts! 

Once Michael Graziadei left his Y&R role of trouble magnet Daniel Romalotti, primetime took hold and never let go. Heck, even before he left, primetime was already beckoning — he played Jessica Lange’s boy toy in the first season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY. Since his exit, he’s guested on what seems like every series under the stars, and was most recently seen in Season 3 of HBO’s prestigious TRUE DETECTIVE. 

After completing a two-year stint as GL’s incorrigible Cyrus Foley — a con artist so handsome and charming, he hardly needed that Aussie accent to sucker a mark! — Murray Bartlett took primetime by storm, guesting on series such as DAMAGES and THE GOOD WIFE, and landing leading roles in HBO’s drama LOOKING and Netflix’s recent revival of Armistead Maupin’s TALES OF THE CITY.
