Soaps’ Best Moms of All Time!

Elizabeth Webber (GH)

It’s a good thing that Liz loves being a mom, because she just keeps having kids — three sons at last count! First, she had Cameron with Zander Smith, then her affair with Jason while married to Lucky brought Jake into her life, and finally she gave birth to Aiden, who actually was Lucky’s child! We’re not sure how she manages being a single mom to three boys while also working full-time as a nurse at General Hospital, but she’s been pulling off that particular miracle for years now!

Sharon Newman (Y&R)

Sharon loves being a mom. So much so that she recently tried to be a mother to a child that didn’t actually belong to her! But she loved her children Noah, Cassie, and Faith beyond words. Sadly, Cassie died tragically as a teenager, but many years later, Sharon found herself welcoming her look-alike, Mariah, into her life and discovered she was actually Cassie’s twin she didn’t even know existed!

Laura Spencer (GH)

Laura has always been super protective of her children, mostly because her life keeps putting them in danger! She and Luke were forced to go on the run with son Lucky for years to avoid the mob before they were finally able to return to Port Charles. And daughter Lulu was kidnapped by Stavros Cassadine, who is also the father of Laura’s other son, Nikolas! But no matter what happens, Laura will do whatever she has to in order to keep her children safe.

Alexis Davis (GH)

Considering how strong Alexis is, it’s no surprise that her three daughters (commonly known as the Davis Girls) are equally powerful women in their own right. Alexis tried to keep Sonny in the dark that Kristina was his daughter because of his dangerous lifestyle, then later had another baby girl, Molly, with Sonny’s equally-dangerous brother, Ric! When Alexis went in search of the daughter she’d given up for adoption as a teenager, she discovered the child had grown up to be Sam! And her dad was none other than mob boss Julian Jerome! Alexis has gone to extremes to protect her girls, but as we’ve seen over the years, they’re more than capable of taking care of themselves!

Erica Kane (AMC)

Erica had a troubled relationship with her mother, Mona, but worked overtime to be as good a mom to her own children as possible. Erica welcomed a baby girl, Bianca in 1988 and helped the girl deal with anorexia and later coming out as a lesbian. Things with her older daughter, Kendalll, got off to a rough start when the girl showed up in Pine Valley to reveal she was the daughter Erica had given up for adoption as a teen, but they also soon developed an unbreakable bond. She also discovered that the baby she believed she’d adopted had grown into a young man named Colin! Unfortunately, Colin was shot and Erica had to choose to donate his heart to save Kendall’s life.

Victoria Lord (OLTL)

Viki endured all kinds of trials and tribulations over the years, and tried her best to shield her children from the same. She had two sons, Kevin and Joey, and three daughters, Megan, Jessica, and Natalie. Sadly, Megan died of lupus in 1992, and Jessica inherited Viki’s multiple personality disorder. But despite battling with her own illness, Viki did her best to keep Jessica from succumbing to it herself!

Blair Cramer (OLTL)

Blair fought fiercely for her three children, even though one of them wasn’t even her biological child! With Todd Manning as father to Starr and Jack, Blair always had to be on her toes. When Starr was born, Todd fought for custody of the little girl, and when Jack was born, Todd initially told Blair their baby had died! Sam’s story is a bit more complicated: The boy is the result of Margaret raping Todd, who was really Victor impersonating Todd, and Blair adopted him. But she loves Sam just as much as if he were her own flesh and blood!

Nikki Newman (Y&R)

Nikki grew up as a have-not, so she knows just how to fight dirty when she has to in order to protect her children, Nick and Victoria. And since their father is The Great Victor Newman, she’s even had to protect her kids from him! She has also been a good mom to her stepchildren when she remarries, which has been often. And she welcomed her son Dylan back into her life after giving him up for adoption many years ago. Because it’s her love of family that has gotten Nikki through some tough times in her life, especially when the alcoholic falls off the wagon!

Brooke Logan (B&B)

If there’s one thing Brooke loves almost as much as her many children, it’s falling in love with men, which can make Father’s Day a little complicated! Her eldest children, Rick and Bridget, are both Eric’s. Daughter Hope was fathered by Deacon, and son R.J. belongs to Ridge. Baby Jack is a bit more complicated, as he was thought to be Nick and Taylor’s son until it was revealed the eggs implanted into Taylor actually belonged to Brooke, making her the boy’s biological mom!

Stephanie Forrester (B&B)

Never was there a more powerful mama bear than Stephanie Forrester. Despite the revelation that son Ridge was actually fathered by Massimo Marone, the guy remained number one at Forrester Creations while Thorne, her son with Eric, seemed relegated to the basement! Stephanie also has three daughters with Eric, although only Felicia and Kristen are still alive. Eldest daughter Angela died of microcephaly before the soap even premiered.

Barbara Ryan (ATWT)

As one of Oakdale’s most notorious vixens, Barbara did plenty of scheming, and sometimes it was with the best of intentions when she was trying to help her three children. Sure, with a father like James Stenbeck, eldest son Paul could more than take care of himself, but that didn’t stop her from interfering left and right! And though Darryl Crawford was Jennifer’s biological father, she was raised by police chief Hal Munson, who also fathered Barbara’s youngest, Will.

Lily Snyder (ATWT)

Lily has experienced more than her fair share of trauma through the years, but despite it all, she has always been there for her children. Such as when her oldest son Luke came out as gay, and she and Holden were there to support him (even if the teen did accidentally push his pregnant mom down a flight of stairs!). And when older daughter Faith entered her teens and struggled with an eating disorder, Lily was there to keep her on the straight and narrow. Her youngest kids with Holden, Natalie and Ethan, were too young to really get into too much trouble, thankfully!

Reva Shayne (GL)

Reva always had a lot of love to give, and she spread it around enough that she had five children by four different men! Reva’s true love was Josh, and they had a son, Shayne, and a daughter, Marah, together. But she also married his brother, Billy, and had a son, Dylan. In addition, she had a son, Jonathan, with Richard, and another, Colin, with Jeffrey. But no matter who their dads were, Reva loved all of her children equally and would fight to the death to protect any of them!
