THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS’ Abhi Sinha Says a Heartbreaking Farewell to His Beloved Pet

Please join us in sending love to THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESSAbhi Sinha (Ravi), who is mourning the loss of his beloved dog, Boba Fett after nearly three years together. “Our hearts are broken,” he shared on Instagram. “This past Monday, we had to lay Boba Fett to rest. We are completely shattered, and still in disbelief. We ask that you please not ask any questions at this time as we process our grief and heal. We will provide answers if and when we are ready.

“He was so very much loved and the center of our world,” Sinha continued. “While his life was short, it was full and rich. He spent his last few months in a dog’s paradise on a five-acre ranch with his favorite dogs — Max, Rooney, and Bella. His daily routine included jumping, ball chasing, rabbit hunting, swimming, hiking, car rides, treats, and playing. As he crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, he was surrounded by the five people who loved him most and slipped away peacefully in my arms.”

Sinha also explained why it’s appropriate that he named his dog after the popular Star Wars character. “With his customized Mandalorian armor, deadly weaponry, and silent demeanor, Boba Fett was one of the most feared bounty hunters in the galaxy,” he wrote. “His character was strong, silent and brutal. Even when he appeared passive, he was capable and ruthless. Despite having one of the shortest screen times, he is one of the most revered characters with one of the largest cult followings.”
