Fashion consultant Chloe Mitchell arrived in Genoa City in 2008, hired by Cane to help his girlfriend, Lily, who was a model at the time.

Discovering she was pregnant, Chloe set up a drunk Cane to believe that he was the father. When Lily dumped Cane, he agreed to marry Chloe for the sake of their unborn child.

Jill revealed the truth that Chloe is actually Esther's secret daughter, Kate Valentine!

After it was revealed that Billy was the real father of her daughter, Delia, Chloe married him.

Chloe also had brief flings with Chance and his half brother, Ronan, during her time in Genoa City.

When Delia was diagnosed with leukemia, Billy's donation of his bone marrow saved their child's life.

Chloe had an on-and-off-again relationship with Kevin, and they eventually married. Their internet business, TagNGrab, turned out to be a disaster, and they briefly turned to a life of crime to pay their bills!

Chloe was devastated when Delia was killed by a hit-and-run driver. She lashed out at Billy, but later was able to honor her daughter's memory by donating Delia's corneas to help save the vision of her best friend Chelsea's baby boy, Connor.

Chloe soon became unnaturally attached to Chelsea and Adam's son, and after learning that Adam was the driver who struck Delia, Chloe abducted Connor to take him to Paris. Confronted, she returned the child and agreed to seek professional help.

Determined to become pregnant again, Chloe attempted to convince Billy to donate his sperm. Concerned, her loved ones staged an intervention, and she agreed to leave Genoa City to undergo treatment in California. (However, when she left town, she secretly had a stash of Billy's sperm in her bag!)

Chloe returned to Genoa City on the first anniversary of Delia's death, telling Kevin that she was only visiting and was determined to make a fresh start somewhere else. But what she didn't tell him was that she was pregnant!

Adam was killed when the cabin he was in exploded, and it was later revealed that Chloe had drugged him and left him to die in the blast!

Chloe remained mum about who was the father of her baby, but after Billy and Kevin both took paternity tests, they learned that Bella belonged to Kevin.

The day Chloe was to marry Kevin, Chelsea learned the truth about what her friend had done to Adam. Chloe knocked Chelsea unconscious and went on the run (aided and abetted by Victor) but Chelsea went after her determined to get justice for Adam.

After Chelsea discovered Chloe dead, Kevin was crushed. But he was absolutely shocked when she popped out of her coffin after the funeral! Unfortunately, Harris, the shady guy who'd helped her fake her death, tried to kidnap Chloe, so Kevin had to rush to her rescue before they could take off and raise Bella under assumed identities far, far from Genoa City.

Kevin kidnapped Phyllis to exchange her for Chloe, who had been kidnapped by Adam. He negotiated her release by giving Adam incriminating footage of Nick masquerading as T.J. and Chloe vowed to put aside her vendetta against Adam and focus on raising Bella. But she's got a past that's going to be hard to put behind her, so stay tuned to see what happens next!
