Susan Seaforth Hayes’ Special Trip to the Grand Canyon
A recent trip to the Grand Canyon was made extra special for Days of Our Lives legend Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie) when she made it with some fans of the soap and co-stars Judi Evans (Bonnie), Melissa Reeves (Jennifer), Matthew Ashford (Jack), Leann Hunley (Anna), and Thaao Penghlis (Tony).
“When you visit Grand Canyon,” she shared on Instagram, “be sure to travel with people you love. The pleasure is so overwhelming, you’ll want to share it. Starstruck Events — thank you, Paul and Keith! — put together 20 devoted DAYS fans and five of my favorite actors, Judi, Missy, Matt, Leann, and Thaao, for a train trip that was… perfect.”
The journey also brought back some fond recollections of trips to the national park with her late husband, Bill Hayes (Doug). “Twice upon a time, I was there with my darling Bill Hayes — a precious memory. But time goes by… and this adventure put new sparkle on my spirit. Thank you dear fans and friends for showing us Salem veterans we are still so loved!”
