Eva LaRue Shares Her Stunning European Vacation!

La Rue started her trip in the South of France, hanging out on the glamourous French Riviera. “Kickin’ off the Côte d'Azur with La Guérite, one of the great beach clubs off the coast of Cannes,” she shared. “Arrive by boat to its own private island.”

Next stop was the enchanting seaside village of Eze. “My favorite tiny, magical village! Eze-ly the most beautiful medieval village in France, with incredible views over the Riviera.”

With the principality of Monaco just about five miles from Eze, it was an easy side trip for LaRue and her daughter. “Slipped into a 1929 Monaco Grand Prix F1 race car in front of the Monte Carlo Casino.”

Back in France, LaRue dined at the iconic Nice restaurant Le Plongeoir, which sits on a famous pillar of rock, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and is a popular photo spot in the port city. “As cool as all the media post pics, but not great food to be honest,” she confessed.

Heading over to Vienna, Austria, LaRue and Kaya did some shopping. “Thank you to the talented Michel Mayer, my favorite Austrian designer! Always fun to visit her workshop/store when in Vienna. I always come away with a bunch of pieces I love.”

While in Austria, the actress also visited the historic Leopoldskron Palace in Salzburg to attend the launch party for a new magazine, CALL, and took part in the CALL Festival as a panelist.

LaRue and Kaya explored Austria with the star’s friend, Liesl. “Adventures with Liesl in Vienna and Salzburg. FYI, evidently, the Austrians despise The Sound of Music,” she said of the classic musical based on the real-life story of the Von Trapp Family Singers. “That’s ok, Americans retaliate by confusing them with Australians 😂. Much to Liesl’s chagrin, Kaya and I are unabashedly, embarrassing fanatics.”

Soaking up the splendor of the expansive garden floral displays and the Baroque architecture at Schloss Mirabell, a historic palace in Salzburg.

“Amazing family-owned resort in the Austrian Alps,” LaRue raved of Hotel Stanglwirt, which operates as both an organic farm and five-star luxury and wellness resort at the foothills of the Wilder Kaiser massif.

LaRue took advantage of the horse-riding activities at Stanglwirt, home to several majestic white Lipizzaner horses.

Finishing up their trip in Italy, LaRue and Kaya took flight over the Dolomites, aka the Italian Alps.

“No words or photos could possibly capture the sheer awesomeness of the Dolomites,” she shared. “They made me feel small in the best way.”
