Go Behind the Scenes for the GH Nurses Ball Opener with Risa Dorken!

The first performance of the GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Nurses Ball each year is always a spectacular song and dance routine featuring the ladies and gentlemen who are the heart of the hospital.

While this year’s opening number was sadly missing Sonya Eddy’s Epiphany, Risa Dorken (Amy), Dioni Michelle Collins (Deanna), Marc Anthony Samuel (Felix), and Tajh Bellow (T.J.) did the late star proud with the routine they executed in her honor.

However, a lot of time, effort, hard work, and sweat goes into preparing those show-stopping numbers! On Instagram and Twitter, Dorken gave her followers a peek at the rehearsal process for the opening act.

    Choreographer Cris Judd has worked with the soap on many Nurses Balls in the past — and even choreographed Brando’s sexy striptease that the late mechanic did for Sasha at Carly’s bachelorette party in September 2021!
