Tanner Novlan and Kayla Ewell’s Daughter Turns Two — See How She’s Grown!

Please join us in sending big birthday wishes to Poppy Marie Novlan, the daughter of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL stars Tanner Novlan (Finn) and Kayla Ewell (ex-Caitlin)! The couple’s sweet little girl turned two on July 16, and the family celebrated her second birthday over the weekend with a backyard bash featuring a bouncy castle, lots of balloons, and a triple-layered confetti cake topped with loads of sprinkles!

Ewell posted some snaps of Poppy’s party on her Instagram page, including a few of her and her B&B star hubby jumping with their daughter in the bounce house, and another candid shot of the family with the birthday girl’s yummy cake. But Ewell apologized for not having a bigger photo dump to share with her followers. The reason? She decided to be present in the moment, celebrating their daughter, rather than documenting the party for social media!

“Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating two years of Sweet P!” Ewell wrote. “Here are some highlights! We have less pictures because we were off our phones and just enjoyed being together. What a way to celebrate!”

When both Ewell and Novlan’s ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO gigs overlapped in January 2020 — she plays Nora and he plays Gregory — Poppy tagged along to the Santa Fe, NM, set of the CW drama. “When Mom and Dad are working on the same show and Poppy comes along for the snowy adventure.”

While her hubby was away for work during the pandemic, Ewell and Poppy indulged in some Mommy & Me time at home. “Been spending a lot of quality time with this little one. Dad’s away shooting and we’re quarantined at home just the two of us,” she wrote. “Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel towards my own parents for all the sacrifices they made for me and my siblings. Parenting is amazing but it’s also really hard. Thanks to all the moms and dads out there for their daily sacrifices, especially during this pandemic.”

The family trip took a trip Malibu in honor of Novlan’s birthday. ”It’s this guy’s birthday today,” wrote Ewell. “Total stud. Lucky me. Happy Birthday, Tanner.”
