Y&R’s Melissa Ordway Mourns the Loss of Her Beloved Dog, Riley
Please join us in sending love to THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS star Melissa Ordway (Abby) who had to say goodbye to her precious fur baby, Riley. “My heart breaks as I write this,” she shared on Instagram. “Riley, my companion, my journal, my first child, the sweetest boy. One of a kind. I’ll never forget the first time I saw you. You stole my heart. 16 years of memories.
“Thank you for being an angel here on Earth,” Ordway continued. “Now you’re amongst the angels in heaven. I know you’re playing with your brothers and running after a soccer ball. I love you. We all love you. We will miss you every day.”
Naturally, the comments filled up with condolences from fans and friends, including Ordway’s Y&R co-stars. “Oh Melissa, I’m so so sorry,” exclaimed Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea). “They are our babies. Sending you so much love.” Lauralee Bell (Christine) assured her friend she was “thinking of you all! So so hard.”
