Who Is Shauna on The Young and The Restless?

Charlie’s life got a little more complicated when he fell for Shauna on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, but the soap was all the better for adding actress Camryn Hamm to its cast, even if just for a little while. “I am so excited to announce that I will be guest-starring on Y&R!” she posted to her Instagram back in February. “I had such an amazing time working with the amazing cast and crew of this show! I hope you all enjoy!”

Hamm made her debut in March of 2018, and after a few appearances, returned again in May for even more! “It has been such an honor to work on this show again!” she enthused. “The incredible cast and crew are so talented, including the beautiful Mishael Morgan (Hilary) who has inspired me so much!” Y&R was Hamm’s daytime debut, though viewers might recognize her from her role as Hilary Montgomery in an episode of the ABC sitcom BLACK-ISH.

Shauna was initially introduced as a young teen who Hilary was mentoring. And while it initially seemed as though Hil was just doing it to make herself look good in Devon’s eyes, it turned out to be genuine and Hilary does actually care about the young woman’s well-being. And after Charlie took Shauna to her prom, she sought him out when her life at home became too difficult. Her parents dumped her with her dysfunctional aunt so she needed somewhere else to stay. Lily was upset to find Shauna in her son’s bed, but after the situation was explained, Hilary and Devon invited her to live with them in their new apartment.

Unfortunately, following Hilary’s death, Devon began to slowly spiral out of control, drinking and falling in with a bad crowd. Concerned, Cane helped arrange for Shauna to return to Colorado. Charlie suggested she coudl stay with their family, but his dad obviously put the kibosh on that idea! Shauna assured Charlie they’d stay in touch and thanked Devon for everything he’d done for her.
