Mishael Morgan and Bryton James Look Back on Hilary and Devon’s Most Memorable Moments on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS
With Devon and Hilary’s love story on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS coming to a tear-filled tragic end, the soap tried to brighten things up by having actors Bryton James and Mishael Morgan sit down to look back at their favorite scenes together, including their very first! The stars even offered some behind the scenes commentary as they watch, dropping all kinds of backstage secrets.
“We had no idea that they were planning to set us up together,” James admitted of the very first scene where Devon Winters and Hilary Curtis first encountered each other. “I remember after this scene, the producer came up and said, ‘I think there’s something between you guys.’”

The subsequent scene shows Hilary opening the door to a blind Neil after having sex with Devon and the pair joke about how they were terrible people back then. The final scene was their 2015 wedding where Jones points out that Morgan was pregnant with her first child when they filmed it, and she reveals that she actually gave birth to her son, Niam, just nine days after they shot the episode!
At the end of the video, Morgan shares a special message with her fans. “I just want to thank all of the fans who have supported me on this incredible and epic journey on Y&R,” Morgan expressed. Then the turned to her co-star and gushed, “And I want to thank YOU for being the best co-star and leading man that a girl can have. This has been the journey of a lifetime and I know that I will never forget it. And it’s mainly because of you guys. Thank you guys so much for watching and thank you guys for giving Hilary a home. And me!”
