Daytime Actress Farah Fath Galfond Is Pregnant With a Baby Boy — See the Magic Moment She Learned the Happy News!

Tags:

Congratulations to Farah Fath, who is expecting a baby with husband Phil Galfond! The actress, best known to daytime fans as Gigi Morasco on ONE LIFE TO LIVE and Mimi Lockhart on DAYS OF OUR LIVES, learned the gender of their baby at a very special party where her niece, Lola, popped a balloon to reveal whether the happy couple will be having a boy or a girl. When the little girl managed to bring the balloon down to her level and pop it, the shower of blue confetti that exploded from it revealed that the Galfonds will be welcoming a baby boy into their family! (You can click through the photos from the party below and one of them will be the actual video you can watch for yourself to see the magic moment!)

Farah & Phil’s #GenderReveal 💗🤗💙

Fath announced her pregnancy back in June by sharing a photo of a holiday display featuring their dog, Egg, and photos of the sonogram with a message announcing they’re expecting their bundle of joy as the best Christmas present ever!

“Two and a half years ago, Phil and I lost our first baby at almost 13 weeks,” Fath shared. “We were thisclose to announcing just like we are today. We took a little time to recover, live our lives, have some fun, and accomplish some goals. Once we got back in the saddle, getting pregnant again seemed to keep not happening. But at last, we have found ourselves blessed with what the internet calls our ‘rainbow baby.’ I think it’s fitting because to me, rainbows are one of nature’s most beautiful occurrences.

“So even though our road to becoming parents was slightly bumpy — some women have it so much worse! — we never once felt sorry for ourselves,” she continued. “Instead, we continued to feel extremely blessed no matter our destiny. Personally speaking, I was always at peace with whatever our future held because it’s Phil that is the most important thing in the world to me. Our relationship is all I truly need. But now that I know we are in fact meant to be Mom and Dad, I”m mostly just excited because I’m on this adventure with my BFF.”

2.5 years ago, Phil & I lost our first baby at almost 13 weeks, we were thisclose to announcing just like we are today. We took a little time to recover, live our lives, have some fun, & accomplish some goals. Once we got back in the saddle, getting pregnant again seemed to keep not happening. But at last, we have found ourselves blessed with what the internet calls, our “rainbow baby”. I think it’s fitting because to me, rainbows are one of nature’s most beautiful occurrences. So even though our road to becoming parents was slightly bumpy (some women have it SO much worse!), we never once felt sorry for ourselves. Instead, we continued to feel extremely blessed no matter our destiny. Personally speaking, I was always at peace with whatever our future held because it’s Phil that is the most important thing in the world to me. Our relationship is all I truly need. But now that I know we are in fact meant to be Mom & Dad, I’m mostly just excited because I’m on this adventure with my BFF❤️. (Next post will be about how AWFUL first trimesters are and how completely miserable I was…😝) #pregnancyannouncement #pregnant #decemberbaby #rainbowbaby

Fath closed by joking that her next post will be about “how awful first trimesters are and how completely miserable I was” and sure enough, that’s exactly what happened. Although we’re sure that once the pair welcomes their little boy into the world all the hard work will have been well worth it. Congratulations to the happy couple!
