Get a Sneak Peek at ALL MY CHILDREN’s Alicia Minshew on THE BLACKLIST!

As Kendall Hart on ALL MY CHILDREN, Alicia Minshew earned a legion of devoted fans who have followed her wherever she goes. And now the actress has teased that she’ll be appearing on THE BLACKLIST! “Just hanging out in scrubs with blood on my face,” she posted to Instagram. “Not a good look for me, but loads of fun! A special thanks for Dr. Audie Liametz for showing me how to perform heart surgery on THE BLACKLIST. Oh, and for helping me shove my crazy puffy hair under that cap!”

THE BLACKLIST, starring James Spader and Megan Boone returned for its fifth season on Sept. 27 on NBC, and Minshew’s appearance as a surgeon for the criminal underwold will be in the episode airing on Wednesday, Oct. 18, at 8 p.m. ET. “It is such a tiny role that I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it,” Minshew told Soaps In Depth. “I don’t want to get people too excited because it is two tiny scenes. I did work with James Spader, which was cool!” And if you can’t wait until the episode airs, you can get a sneak peek of Minshew in action with Spader and co-star Megan Boone in this clip!

Minshew joined the cast of AMC back in 2002 as a recast for Kendall, previously played by Sarah Michelle Gellar. During her run on the soap, she earned two Daytime Emmy nominations — first in Outstanding Supporting Actress and then in Outstanding Lead Actress.

Since leaving daytime, Minshew has appeared in the web soaps BEACON HILL and TAINTED DREAMS as well as various television series and films like The Funeral Guest. “I love that script so much,” she said of the indie film available on DVD.
