AMC Mainstay Recast!
Forget the eggnog, carols and holiday decorations. It ain’t Christmas until ALL MY CHILDREN’s Father Clarence makes his annual appearance in Pine Valley! The tradition continues this year, with the beloved character gracing the screen on Monday, December 27. But it’s not all holly and tinsel: The show had to quickly replace Malachy McCourt (who’s been recurring as the character since 2005) with actor Michael McCarthy! A spokesperson for AMC says that due to a personal emergency, McCourt had to be recast at the last minute.
