AMC’s Creator Returns To The Screen

Before ALL MY CHILDREN airs its final episode on ABC, the soap’s creator, Agnes Nixon, will make another guest appearance as Agnes Eckhardt, a long-standing board member of Pine Valley Hospital.

Aside from playing Mrs. Eckhart in 2005 in celebration of AMC’s 35th Anniversary, Nixon has also appeared on the soap as a character named Aggie, the ghost of Pine Valley’s presumable founder. During this short-term arc, Nixon’s Eckhardt will be admitted into the hospital and be treated by Lindsay Hartley‘s Cara and Vincent Irizarry‘s David. She’ll also cross paths with Erica (played by Susan Lucci), and Agnes will have a profound effect on all of the characters she interacts with, changing the course of their lives.

Tune in on Wednesday, August 31, and Thursday, September 1, to see Nixon in action!
