Yes, Kentucky Fried Chicken’s Colonel Sanders Is Actually Appearing on GENERAL HOSPITAL
Amidst all the drama and excitement of the Friday, July 6, episode of GENERAL HOSPITAL, there’s going to be a very unusual guest star — Colonel Sanders from Kentucky Fried Chicken! Back on June 25, the official KFC twitter account started live tweeting comments about the soap during episodes of GH leaving some fans slightly confused. And now actor George Hamilton, who portrays the fast food mascot, will be making a special appearance in Port Charles to celebrate National Fried Chicken Day. “I will get to live the dream I’ve always dreamed and appear in the soap opera that captured my heart as a boy, GH.” the Colonel shared.

Of course, the clip they actually showed didn’t actually reveal anything, as they wanted to try and keep the mystery alive. Unfortunately the Colonel had already spilled the beans himself on social media!

As an actor, Hamilton is widely recognized from his numerous roles in film and television. And playing Colonel Sanders on GH isn’t even his first soapy role — he played Joel Abrigore on the classic primetime sudser DYNASTY back in 1985-86!
