Cook & Zucker Give Back

GENERAL HOSPITAL star Jason Cook (Matt) has partnered with his friend — and former DAYS OF OUR LIVES co-star — Arianne Zucker (Nicole) for an exciting new project that will allow the actors to give back and make a positive and lasting impact on the world. Together with Zucker’s brother, Todd, they’ve created a philanthropic Web site and documentary series called LifeCHANGE.
“We’ll take six young adults and we’re going to change the trajectory of their lives,” Cook tells Soaps In Depth. Not only will the young adults be working toward changing their lives, but also the lives of the complete strangers they meet through volunteer work. “They’re going to go on a whirlwind trip for a month, doing different events like Habitat For Humanity. It’s like THE AMAZING RACE with a good point.”
Casting for LifeCHANGE is currently underway. “We want fans to send in a video, saying why they want a life-changing experience for a month, to www.lifechangetheshow.com,” says Cook. Video submissions should be kept to two minutes, and applicants will also be required to fill out a questionnaire telling the LifeCHANGE team why they would like to take this chance. Shooting will begin in a few months, with the documentary set to air next summer on the LifeCHANGE Web site.
