VIDEO: Inside Chad Duell and Courtney Hope’s Magical Trip to the College of Wizardry!
Actors Courtney Hope (Sally, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL) and Chad Duell (Michael, GENERAL HOSPITAL) enjoyed a magical vacation at the College of Wizardry at Czocha Castle in Poland! During their recent European getaway, the couple spent a few days as students in an elaborate live-action role-playing game where they lived as wizards-in-training in a real 13th century castle.
Hope revealed that she’d named her character Jade Harper, and was a Hexborn Sophomore of House Libussa. “Defending the castle against demons and dark forces,” she shared on Instagram. “Creatively earning house points with spells and studying, frustratingly losing house points for tardiness and lack of preparation, winning over teachers with originality and individuality, finding proper persuasion for hall passes after midnight, competing for the house cup against other students, werewolves, witches, hexborns, and mundaneborns inhabiting the five powerful houses of Czocha Castle. This world is nothing less than real and incredible. Also, there were mermaids!
“The people I met,” Hope concluded, “the things I learned about myself, my craft, human beings, and the power of imagination can never be replaced.”
