Tags:

Daytime fans who miss seeing Debbi Morgan can look forward to watching the Emmy-winning actress in her new series, POWER BOOK II: GHOST, premiering on Starz this summer. Soap viewers remember Morgan fondly from her multiple roles like ALL MY CHILDREN‘s Angie, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS‘ Harmony, and GENERAL HOSPITAL and PORT CHARLES’ Ellen, among others.

This new sequel to the Starz series, POWER, will continue the dramatic stories of some of its most well-known characters, and Morgan will be reprising her role of Estelle, who she played on a recurring basis in the original series. GHOST will pick up the narrative immediately following the POWER finale as it follows Tariq navigating his new life, trying to rid himself of his father’s legacy while struggling to save his family. Check out this tease that Starz released to promote the new series:

Although perhaps best known for her work in daytime, Morgan has an equally-impressive career in film and primetime with roles on shows like WHAT’S HAPPENING!!, BOSTON PUBLIC, CHARMED, and FOR THE PEOPLE as well as movies like Eve’s Bayou, The Hurricane, and Coach Carter. Now you can look forward to seeing the talented actress again in POWER BOOK II: GHOST, and we’ll be sure to let you know just as soon as an official air date for the premiere is announced.

So stay tuned for that and for more on what your favorite daytime stars — past and present — are up to, keep reading Soaps In Depth magazine.
