Exclusive: Buchanan Confirms DAYS Exit
Soap veteran Ian Buchanan (ex-James, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL; ex-Duke, GENERAL HOSPITAL; Greg, ALL MY CHILDREN) will indeed be leaving his current post as DAYS OF OUR LIVES’ Ian this summer, the actor confirms to Soaps In Depth. “Yes, I am departing Salem but will air through the summer,” he tells us exclusively. “I have enjoyed each and every moment of being there, so much so, I am going to keep the name Ian.”
Buchanan joined the NBC sudser in February of this year as Madison’s not-so-nice much older husband. Now that the Emmy winning actor is a free agent, might he return to B&B’s Beverly Hills locale? James’ good pal, Taylor, could certainly use a friend in town!
