Franco To Publish First Novel!

GENERAL HOSPITAL guest star James Franco (Franco) is adding another career to his resumé: novelist! The actor/Oscar host/graduate student/painter/performance artist/producer/screenwriter has already published a collection of short stories, titled Paolo Alto — named after the California Bay Area city in which he was raised — and now he’s sold his first novel!

According to the New York Observer, the book is called Actors Anonymous, and is loosely based on Franco’s own experiences. The novel will be produced by e-commerce giant Amazon’s publishing unit, rather than a traditional publishing house.
