Congratulations to GENERAL HOSPITAL star Briana Nicole Henry (Jordan), who received the most incredible Christmas gift this year — she got engaged to her boyfriend of two years, Kris Bowers! “I get to love you for a lifetime, now,” she shared on Instagram on Christmas Eve. “Wow. I love you, Kris. Here’s to all that’s to come. You are a dream.”
She shared a lovely posed photo with her new fiancé, and if you click or swipe to the right, you can see the video of her reaction to the proposal after putting the ring on her finger. Henry squats down on the rose petal-covered balcony and then recovers to rush into her beau’s arms. “I love you so much,” she says before kissing him and adding, “Oh my God, you killed this! This was so good!” Then she gets overcome again and steps back, happily exclaiming, “I don’t know what to do with myself! Oh my God!”
Bowers, a musician who composes scores for films and television series like Green Book and DEAR WHITE PEOPLE, posted the same pic and video to his own Instagram. “Last night, this beautiful human agreed to spend forever with me,” he announced. “I’m the luckiest man alive. Thank you, Briana. I love you so.”
Henry, who had previously appeared on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, joined the cast of GH in September of 2018, taking over the role of Jordan Ashford from the departing Vinessa Antoine. So when Jordan and Curtis finally walked down the aisle to become man and wife, it was Henry who got to wear the glorious gown. “My first TV wedding,” the actress shared on Instagram with a series of behind the scenes pics from the day of shooting. “I repeat, my TV wedding. Ha ha!”
We’re sure that Henry will look even more beautiful when her real-life wedding day rolls around, and we can’t wait to see those pictures! Congratulations to the happy couple for a lifetime of happiness!
