Carolyn Hennesy Reveals Why She Loved Defending Willow on GH (EXCLUSIVE)
Port Charles legal eagle Diane makes a good living defending mobsters and murderers on GENERAL HOSPITAL. But Carolyn Hennesy was thrilled when her character represented Willow in the family court case against Shiloh! “I’ve always loved pulling a tumor out of a mayonnaise jar,” the actress cracked to Soaps In Depth, referring to the time Diane secured Franco’s exoneration by bringing his removed tumor to court. “But Willow was a whole different bag of mess. It was great, because I wasn’t defending a crazy. I was against a crazy! It was nice to be on the side of right, again.”
Sure, Willow landed herself in contempt and was locked up for days because she refused to reveal anything about Shiloh’s son, but Hennesy maintained that the teacher was a better client than Sonny or Jason tend to be. “She really needed my guidance and, unlike almost everyone else I’ve ever defended, she listened to me,” chuckled the actress.”Or she tried to as best she could!”
