GENERAL HOSPITAL fans have been sharing the love on social media for the departing Jason Thompson (Patrick) and Kimberly McCullough (Robin), but so have their castmates!

“To my dear Jason Thompson,” wrote Finola Hughes (Anna) on Twitter, “I have loved sharing every moment with you on-screen. You are a special actor and friend. Love always.”

Jeffrey Vincent Parise (Carlos) posted, “Jason Thompson is one of the best actors and humans I’ve had the pleasure to work with! He will be greatly missed on GH.”

Nicolas Bechtel (Spencer) shared a photo of himself with Thompson and Brooklyn Rae Silzer (Emma) along with his sentiment, “Best of luck to you, Jason Thompson. It was fun.”

“Jason Thompson, you will be missed, dear friend,” tweeted Carolyn Hennesy (Diane). “A joy sharing the stage with you!”

“Gonna miss Jason Thompson around the ranch,” said Marc Anthony Samuel (Felix) on Twitter. “All the best to you, buddy. Hope we get to work together again in some other cool project!”

William deVry (Julian) urged fans to tune in to the episode to say farewell, and added, “Best wishes for the future, my friend.”

“What a classy and beautiful send off for two important and loved characters,” wrote Michelle Stafford (Nina). “Two classy and beautiful actors! Well done! #crying”

Thompson had trouble finding the words, but took to Twitter to say, “Not sure there’s a term for what I would like to say. But… thank you. Once more. What a blast! Saying that… to the next journey. [Applause emoji] to all!”

He also shared on Instagram a wonderful photo of Hughes and McCullough on set in what he captioned as “The last shot.” Kind of says it all…
