GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Chloe Lanier Finally Opens up About Her Daytime Emmy Win

Tags:

Winning a Daytime Emmy Award is always an overwhelming experience, and it took a couple days for Chloe Lanier (Nelle, GENERAL HOSPITAL) to put her thoughts together! Nominated in the same Outstanding Younger Actress category last year, Lanier lost to GH co-star Lexi Ainsworth (ex-Kristina), but this time took home the gold. “Still processing, but I do not take this moment for granted,” she admitted on Instagram shortly after the big night.

The following day, Lanier had finally processed the excitement over her Emmy win and expressed her joy. “It has finally hit me and I couldn’t be happier,” she declared. “Thank you all for your sweet messages and comments. Here’s a huge thank you to my acting coaches, both past and present.”

The actress also offered up some advice for other young women who are considering a career in show business. “Stay in class,” Lanier urged. “Keep coaching. Work hard. This business can be brutal and one thing I always try to remember is that as actors we have the ability to grow. Hard work, studying, and passion make all the difference in that growth. So keep growing.

“And remember to be kind!” she added. “Don’t be a dick. Help each other out. And never give up! So grateful, and I love you all.”

Although many fans hate Nelle with a burning passion, that just goes to show that Lanier is doing a fantastic job playing the schemer, so she more than earned that Emmy Award!
