Chloe Lanier Returns to General Hospital

Nelle warned that she’d be back, and now Chloe Lanier is returning to GENERAL HOSPITAL for another appearance! Although the last time viewers saw the schemer in the middle of October she was being carted off to prison, a rep for the soap warns to look for Nelle to resurface in early November.

Originally introduced in August of 2016 with the last name Hayes, Nelle Benson eventually revealed her true identity… and her true colors. Josslyn’s kidney donor turned out to have a dark past that only got darker as more of it was revealed. Lanier became the character that GH fans loved to hate and earned herself two Daytime Emmy Award nominations and one win for Outstanding Younger Actress for her amazing performances.

Sadly, Lanier revealed that she would be leaving the show, and by the beginning of August, 2018, Nelle’s reign of terror had come to an end as her manipulations were revealed and she was finally brought to justice. But one of the villainess’ last evil deeds was to swap the baby she had just given birth to for Brad’s tragically deceased adopted son, leaving Michael to believe his child had died. Shortly before her final episodes aired, Lanier teased viewers that Nelle wasn’t done with Port Charles, and it turns out she wasn’t kidding!

GH fans have been eager for Michael to learn the truth that Jonah is still alive and for Brad to face the consequences of his actions, and when Lanier reprised her role back in October, many hoped she would tell Michael the truth, but she didn’t. All she did was dig the knife in a little deeper and taunt her enemies that she was hoping to be released early for good behavior. It’s only been a few weeks, so it’s a bit early for that, but what could Nelle’s next appearance mean for Michael or Brad?
