GENERAL HOSPITAL Actor Chris Van Etten Welcomes a Beautiful Baby Boy — See the First Pic!

Congratulations to GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Chris Van Etten, who is the proud father of a beautiful baby boy named Milo Taylor, born Aug. 21! No, not the Chris Van Etten who is on the writing staff at GH — the Chris Van Etten who played Amy’s brother, Chet! “We did a thing!” the actor tweeted.

The real-life military veteran-turned-actor made his daytime debut in November of 2017 when Chet was introduced to Port Charles as Nurse Amy Driscoll’s sibling. The brother had been mentioned already because Amy had concocted her elaborate “Ask Man Landers” book scheme as a way to earn extra money on the side to pay for Chet’s medical care. Chet ended up in GH after an overdose, and Amy struggled to help her brother get clean. He reappeared in May of 2018 for a quick visit to offer his sympathies to Amy and Maxie after Nathan’s death.

Congratulations to Van Etten and wife Samantha on the birth of little Milo. He’s just beautiful. And his on-screen sibling would seem to agree. Risa Dorken (Amy) saw his tweet and immediately gushed: “Congrats, bro! Milo is absolutely gorgeous! How wonderful. Sending my love to you and Sam!”

All the best to the entire family for a lifetime of happiness! And for more on your favorite GH stars — past and present — keep reading the ABC edition of Soaps In Depth magazine!
