DAYS OF OUR LIVES Hires Former GENERAL HOSPITAL Writer
There’s a big change happening behind the scenes at DAYS OF OUR LIVES: co-headwriters Dena Higley and Ryan Quan have been replaced by former GENERAL HOSPITAL and ONE LIFE TO LIVE headwriter Ron Carlivati.

In his new position, Carlivati — who won a Daytime Emmy in 2008 while at OLTL — will be the DAYS headwriter, with Quan remaining on as creative consultant. Quan will share that title with staff writer Sheri Anderson Thomas. While the changes are effective immediately, DAYS tapes several months in advance, so Carlivati’s scripts likely won’t hit the air until this summer.
