Jane Elliot Returns to GENERAL HOSPITAL
It’s a Quartermaine family reunion when Jane Elliot returns to GENERAL HOSPITAL as Tracy Quartermaine! Although she’s reportedly returning in December, there’s no details on exactly when her first airdate will be so it’s not clear yet which holiday she’ll be returning for. While it would seem to be Christmas, due to some recent preemptions, the traditional Quartermaine Thanksgiving pizza feast could be pushed into December a bit!
Elliot originated the role of Tracy back in 1978, and earned four Daytime Emmy Award nominations in the Supporting Actress category during her daytime career (one was for playing Anjelica Deveraux on DAYS OF OUR LIVES). She took home the trophy in 1981 for her work on GH.
The veteran actress announced her retirement in March of 2017 and last aired as Tracy in the May 4, 2017 episode of GH. The character was written out as Tracy left Port Charles to have her own life away from all the family drama. And in her final scene, it was revealed that she had reunited with Luke Spencer in Amsterdam.
Stay tuned to find out what else Tracy has been up to and what drama she gets mixed up in this time around. Although it hasn’t been revealed just how long Elliot’s comeback will last, it probably won’t be very long so you won’t want to miss a single moment of it.
