Tags:

There’s another newcomer to Port Charles with Ely Pouget joining the cast of GENERAL HOSPITAL as Jeannette. While the soap was tight-lipped about who she would be playing, in her first apperance in the Oct. 26 episode, Sam and Spinelli paid a visit to Jeannette Marino who was revealed to be Margaux’s mother! Margaux admitted that she knew her husband was mixed up with dangerous people so when he disappeared, she assumed he’d gotten himself killed. But things took an interesting turn when Sam discovered secret love letters from Joe Scully to Jeannette!

GH isn’t Pouget’s daytime debut. viewers of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS might remember her from her role as Dr. Laura Braun in 2009, playing a psychiatrist involved in a storyline revolving around Katherine Chancellor and her look-alike, Marge. Also on the soapy end of her resume was starring as Maggie Evans in the 1991 revival of DARK SHADOWS.
