Although Laura Wright has been starring as Carly Corinthos on GENERAL HOSPITAL since 2005, her daytime career reaches father back to 1991 when she debuted as Ally Rescott on LOVING. She also played Cassie Layne on GUIDING LIGHT in between, so that’s nearly three decades in soaps. Which means a lot of Daytime Emmy Awards ceremonies to attend and get dressed up for!
