What Happened to Logan Hayes on GENERAL HOSPITAL
Scott mentioning his other son had some fans wondering who is Logan on GENERAL HOSPITAL, but don’t worry — we’re here to fill in the blanks for you! Logan Hayes first appeared in March of 2007 and was played by actor Josh Duhon for just over a year. Sadly, Logan met a grisly end in September of 2008!
Logan arrived in Port Charles to meet his old Army buddy, Cooper Barrett, and started flirting with both Lulu Spencer and Cooper’s girlfriend, Maxie Jones. Logan’s mother, Jaqueline Hayes, was deceased, but he soon confirmed Lulu’s suspicion that his father was still alive and was actually Scott Baldwin, adding that the guy had ruined his family with a bad business deal years before. Father and son agreed to a DNA test which confirmed their connection, and Scott and Logan began taking tentative steps towards repairing their relationship.
Maxie reacted to Logan’s flirting by suggesting if he could get Lulu into bed, she’d sleep with him. But when Lulu found out, she dropped him like a hot potato! Logan argued that since making the bet, he’d genuinely fallen for her, but Lulu didn’t want to know and grew smitten with Johnny Zacchara. Logan became determined to win Lulu back but when she discovered evidence that indicated he could be the Text Message Killer, she freaked out. Logan insisted he had been trying to frame Johnny, and their confrontation escalated to the point where a fearful Lulu hit him on the head with a wrench! Logan was rushed to the hospital and was in a coma when the killer struck again. When Logan awoke, Lulu apologized for the accusation but reminded him they wouldn’t be getting back together.
Logan began working for Anthony Zacchara, and put up with his abuse so he could keep tabs on Lulu and Johnny. Over time, Logan’s obsession with Lulu grew and he began stalking her, blaming Maxie for splitting them up. Lulu was horrified when she saw Logan attacking Maxie in a rage, and when he tried to explain, a terrified Lulu stabbed him in self-defense! Maxie and Johnny helped cover up the crime, and a vengeful Scott prosecuted Johnny for his son’s murder. He stacked the deck against him and was furious when Johnny was acquitted. When he learned that Lulu was really responsible, Scott terrorized her for a time, threatening her with the death penalty, but after a while, they put the past behind them.
Scott has lost both of his sons, but stay tuned to GH because you never know if another will pop out of the woodwork!
