GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Maura West Shows Off the Musical Talents of Her Amazing Kids — See the Videos!

Viewers of GENERAL HOSPITAL are well aware that Maura West is an incredibly talented actress, having watched her performances as Ava Jerome for years on the soap. But they may not know that her entire family is just as amazing! The proud mom shared some video of three of her children with husband (and former AS THE WORLD TURNS co-star) Scott DeFreitas (Andy): Kate, Joe, and Birdie. “Happy St. Patrick’s Day from the Westies,” she captioned her first video, which sees Kate playing guitar while Birdie sings some of “Whiskey in the Jar” by The Dubliners before Joe and Kate join in for the chorus.

The GH Emmy winner also shared a video of Kate singing “Molly Malone (Cockles & Mussels)” accompanied by her brother on guitar. (He also harmonizes with her on the chorus!)

And finally, Joe solos on guitar and vocals for the Irish classic “Danny Boy” and it’s just amazing. No surprise, since the young man has already appeared on Broadway in A Christmas Story: The Musical and on TV in the live performance of The Sound of Music!

Eagle-eyed fans not completely distracted by the beautiful singing voices of West’s children might notice the blueprints for JC Studios on the wall behind them, which are a memento of their parents’ time on ATWT, which was filmed at that studio in Brooklyn back in the day!
