GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Maurice Benard and Jeffrey Vincent Parise Reunited at Chad Duell’s House!

On GENERAL HOSPITAL, Jeffrey Vincent Parise’s Carlos and Maurice Benard’s Sonny were always at each others’ throats, but in real life, the actors are good friends. Which is why they had a blast hanging out this past weekend! “Always a good time catching up with the man who wanted me dead for a few years,” Parise shared on Instagram. “Love this bad*** goofball!”

Judging from the fun photos and video, GH’s Chad Duell (Michael) had some people over, including his on-screen dad and former castmate Parise as well as girlfriend Courtney Hope (Sally, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL) and her co-star Patrika Darbo (Shirley)! “Party of five,” Benard posted. “Fun time at my fake son’s house. Love you, Chad!”

Benard also shared a hilarious video that he captioned: “The Three Stooges. Of course, I’m Mo.” In it, Parise and Duell take turns shaking their groove things to the thumping beat in the background while Benard holds the camera and shouts “Dance baby, dance!”

GH fans fell in love with Parise when he joined the soap as Carlos in 2013, and after the character was killed off in 2016, they hoped the actor would continue on as his twin, Joe, but sadly that was not to be. The look-alike doc departed after just a handful of episodes. Still, it’s super-fun to see that the actors are still friends and it looks like they all had a blast at this party! Wish we were there!
