GENERAL HOSPITAL Star Rebecca Herbst Declares Her Family Is Big Enough, Thank You! (EXCLUSIVE)

Tags:

Nurse Elizabeth Webber has three little boys on GENERAL HOSPITAL, and portrayer Rebecca Herbst has a trio of children in her real life. Although she admitted to Soaps In Depth that she and husband Michael Saucedo (ex-Juan) had originally planned to stop with their first two children. “Michael loves dogs and it seemed that every time I got pregnant, he wanted a dog,” she laughed. Although she also felt the same. “I get pregnant and I need to get a dog!”

Over the years, Saucedo has brought home Ryder, Kipper, Lulu and Bentley to add to the family. Although for a change of pace, the last two pups technically came before the baby. “The last two are itty bitty guys, and they were actually supposed to be my baby fix and pacify the urge,” Herbst confided. “They were supposed to be my new babies. But it didn’t work, so we had Emerson!”

Now, with a family that includes four dogs and their three children — Ethan, 16, Ella, 14, and Emerson, 8 — the actress and working mom admits that nine is more than enough for her. “There are no more babies coming!” Herbst declared firmly.

Hopefully the same can be said for Liz on GH, since she’s got more than enough family drama to deal with now! For more on your favorite stars, keep reading the ABC edition of Soaps In Depth magazine.
