GENERAL HOSPITAL Recaps — Julian Covered for Sonny!

A lot can happen in a day in Port Charles, so it’s easy to get lost. If you’ve missed anything that happened over the last week or so on the soap, our GENERAL HOSPITAL recaps can help you get back up to speed in no time!

After Julian smelled gas and evacuated Charlie’s, Kristina realized Mike had intentionally caused a gas leak and ran back in to fix it. Instead, she knocked herself out. Jason saved her, but not before an explosion rocked the pub. Det. Chase immediately realized it wasn’t an accident… and then found the remains of a body! In a twist, Julian covered for Sonny… and then declared that their business was officially over! Julian even promised not to hire job-seeking Kristina. But upon realizing Krissi would lure Sam to Charlie’s, he gave her the job. Sonny said that he would never run from the law again because doing so would take him away from his family.

Mike Made a Sacrifice!

As a skull was uncovered at Charlie’s, Margaux was telling Drew about her father’s disappearance. She was, of course, in town to uncover what had befallen him! After she and Jordan reviewed the evidence from Charlie’s — and sent the DNA for testing — they called in Mike to answer questions. After faking an episode to buy himself some time, Mike told Sonny he was ready for a care facility,

Cameron Learned a Secret!

With word of Oscar’s tumor spreading among the adults, the kid was planning a future he didn’t know he’d never see. He was also getting into a fist fight with Cameron over Josslyn! After Elizabeth forced Cam to apologize to Oscar, the rebellious teen overheard Franco leaving Drew a supportive message and put it all together. Drew, meanwhile, refused Sam’s offer of friendship.

Nina Wanted Answers!

When Nina asked Curtis to find out if her daughter was alive, the PI was, of course, already on the case for Valentin. Keeping Nina in the dark, he followed the leads to a woman named Sasha, who begrudgingly agreed to take a DNA test.

Ryan Settled In

With The Invader anniversary retrospective on Ryan in the works, the serial killer took his twin’s place in the world — again. Franco definitely noticed a difference in his therapy session, but when Laura called, Ryan easily explained away the change in his voice. The madman was also confident that he’d fooled Lulu. Ryan-as-Kevin surprised Lucy with a dinner date and, thanks to Maxie’s concern for her mother, scheduled a double date for himself, Lucy, Felicia and Mac.

Griffin Was Excommunicated!

With his suspension under review, Griffin told Kiki he’d been excommunicated from the church for continuing to administer sacraments after leaving the cloth. Furious, Kiki challenged her mother and demanded to know whether she’d be taking swings at her, as well. Ava didn’t make any promises. Apartment-hunting Griffin, meanwhile, was tight on money… but there happened to be a cheap rental open across the hall from Kiki!

In Other News…

Maxie was clearly conflcted over her feelings for Peter… and so was Robin, who returned to town to tell her new-found brother that she hoped he’d prove himself worthy of meeting her kids one day. With Robert hunting Cassandra, Valentin put a guard on Nina. Finn and Chase bonded a bit. After Nelle needled Michael via a letter, Lucas learned something was wrong with Wiley.
