GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Robert Palmer Watkins Releases Music Video Covering Justin Bieber Hit

GENERAL HOSPITAL star Robert Palmer Watkins (Dillon) has a new song!

The actor joined forces with friends and released a cover of Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself.”

“My roommates and I are all great friends and love collaborating on creative projects,” he tells Soaps In Depth. “Most of us are actors and musicians.”

They began doing brief covers of popular songs on Fridays and posting them to Instagram, eventually christening it “Funk It Friday.”

“These were 15-second clips of us doing a song to wrap up the week,” Watkins continues. “As popularity grew, people were requesting longer versions, so we have tried to start doing full-length covers.”

Their first full-length performance was Selena Gomez’ “Good For You,” and the sexy music video features Watkins’ GH co-star Brytni Sarpy (Valerie)!

The moody black-and-white footage used to accompany their Bieber cover is much more personal. “It’s a really accurate representation of myself and my group of friends,” Watkins says. “This video is just fun — us goofing off around LA and being creative. It’s a bit raw. We wanted the viewers to feel like they were included in our hangout session.”
