GH’s Tamara Braun Reveals What It’s Like Working With Billy Miller and William deVry (EXCLUSIVE)

The characters of Julian Jerome and Drew Cain couldn’t be more different from each other on GENERAL HOSPITAL, and actress Tamara Braun (Kim) told Soaps In Depth that it’s the same with their portrayers, William deVry and Billy Miller! “From the rehearsal to when we go [to tape], it’s completely different,” she shared. “Billy’s a goofball during the rehearsal. It’s never serious whatsoever… and then as soon as we’re [taping], it’s like, bam! He’s there. So that’s cool to see. And it keeps you on your toes, in terms of being in the moment and responding.”

And just as Kim’s relationship with Drew is completely different from the way she is with Julian, the actress has quite a different experience working with deVry on the GH set. While they will also enjoy some laughs, the pair tend to focus more on the preparation and rehearsal, sometimes even calling each other to run lines over the phone before rehearsing again at the studio on the day. “We both like to rehearse, so that’s nice,” Braun revealed. “We’ve done that downstairs in the green room or a dressing room, and then we take it upstairs to shoot it and see what happens.”

While Kim and Julian may be having their issues right now, it’s good to know she’s also got great chemistry with Drew. Plus, longtime GH fans know firsthand that Braun has amazing chemistry with Maurice Benard, so maybe the writers can figure out a way to bring Kim and Sonny together someday!
