That’s Leif Gantvoort as the Villain Holding Anna and Finn Captive on GENERAL HOSPITAL

That’s Leif Gantvoort playing the mysterious villain holding Finn and Anna captive on GENERAL HOSPITAL. Although some have speculated that he’s playing a recast of Dr. Klein from the Russian clinic where Jason was held as Patient Six, his character was not named during his first appearances on the soap. However, the IMDb lists his GH role as Carson.
Shortly after his first episode aired, Gantvoort posted a selfie from outside the soap’s studio. “It’s true that I am currently a citizen of Port Charles,” he shared. “I began appearing last week, but you can see me today and here and there for the next few weeks. Maybe longer…?”
Gantvoort has played villains before in his career, playing the criminal who shot Peter Parker’s Uncle Ben in The Amazing Spider-Man and Carlos, who tries to kill Kevin James’s Paul Blart in Mall Cop 2. Eagle-eyed viewers might also recognize him from appearances on primetime series like CHICAGO P.D., HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER, and THE CROSSING.

As the man holding Anna prisoner and attempting to force Finn to treat a mysterious patient with an unusual disease, Gantvoort should see plenty of screen time as the storyline unfolds. As to what happens to him once the mystery is solved and Anna and Finn are free to return home, who knows? And just who is this man and what is his connection to Port Charles?
