Wiliam deVry Reveals Julian’s Plan to Win Back Alexis on GENERAL HOSPITAL!
Alexis and Julian remain one of GENERAL HOSPITAL’s most popular couples, with a legion of devoted fans eagerly awaiting their inevitable reunion. But how likely is that to happen? “He still loves her,” William deVry insisted of his alter ego’s feelings during a recent Twitter Q&A with GH fans. “It’s in his eyes every time he sees her.” However, he admits that as an actor, he has no say in storylines so can’t predict if “Julexis” will get back together. “Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) is amazing and I had the time of my life working with her,” deVry declared. “Only TPTB know the answer to this.”
While Julian initially attempted to win Alexis back, the reformed mobster has taken a step back of late in the hopes of proving himself and letting Alexis come to him. “I think Julian is a little hesitant to fight anymore for Alexis and come across as a stalker,” deVry laughed. “I think that’s the last thing he wants. I think he drops as many hints to Alexis as he can. I think it’s important for him to be himself and hope that Alexis sees that he has changed.”

And despite the old adage that a leopard never changes its spots, deVry promises that Julian really is a different person and has enjoyed playing “his honest quest to become a better man.” And he also loves Julian’s new career as the owner of Charlie’s Pub. “I thought it was a great choice by the writers,” he said. “So many possibilities. But it’s also a great area to be for him to keep his edge.”
Of course, some viewers have noticed a little chemistry brewing between Julian and Dr. Kim Nero, but deVry isn’t sure if the two have a romantic future together. “Love working with Tamara Braun,” he enthused. “She is back on the show for a reason. Well-respected, talented, and professional. I know Kim has a few irons in the fire. Drew for one. Jason is another… you just never know.”
But deVry believes that Julian is willing to wait for Alexis to come to him, even if it means watching her get involved with someone else. “Maybe she needs to experience another man for a bit to realize how much she misses him?” he mused. “I don’t know.”
