Fans will finally get a chance to see GENERAL HOSPITAL stars Brooklyn Rae Silzer (Emma), Kristina Wagner (Felicia), and Constance Towers (ex-Helena) in the heartwarming family film, The Storyteller, on the big screen! If you’re in the Hollywood area, the movie is screening at the Arena Cinelounge from Friday, Sept. 21, until Thursday, Sept. 27. “Come on out to see this special film I was so proud to be a part of,” Silzer tweeted. For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit the Arena Cinelounge website.
In The Storyteller, Silzer stars as Abby, an enchanted young girl who brings wonder and healing to a broken family. Towers (ex-Helena) stars as Rosemary, and Wagner (Felicia) plays Doctor Gordon. The film has made the rounds at film festivals, but if you can’t make it to this special week of screenings, you can still watch it for yourself with Hallmark Movies Now. Check out this lovely trailer!
During the film’s rounds at the festivals, Silzer was awarded the “Star on the Horizon” prize at the Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival for her performance. GH fans already know how talented she is from her performances as Emma Drake on the daytime soap (she earned a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Younger Actress in 2016!) and now everyone else knows, too!
Silzer’s award is just one of the many accolades The Storyteller has been racking up at film festivals. The movie itself has been awarded Best Family Feature and Outstanding Feature Film among others. We’ll also keep you up to date as more ways to watch the movie are introduced, including if it appears on DVD.
