When news broke that Tyler Christopher would not be returning to GENERAL HOSPITAL as Nikolas, fans immediately took to social media to let the soap know they wanted his temporary recast, Nick Stabile, back!
Would love for you to return. You were great in the role and been a fan since Sunset beach.— Marie-Eve Mongrain (@mariem201) September 14, 2016
Stabile has been retweeting some of his fans and declared, “Thank you everyone for all the support. I really, really appreciate the kind words. I’m truly touched.”
He also shared a sexy photo of his new haircut where he looks every inch the Dark Prince that GH would be looking for, should they choose to replace Christopher again.

At this time, there has been no official word on whether or not GH is considering bringing Nikolas back onto the canvas. The role was previously recast with Stephen Martines from 1999-2003 before Christopher returned to the role. In addition to Stabile, Chris Beetem (Tate, ONE LIFE TO LIVE; Jordan, AS THE WORLD TURNS) filled in briefly for Christopher when he broke his arm in 2005.
