GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Sean Blakemore Cast in New Pilot!

It doesn’t look like GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Shawn will be getting out of jail anytime soon because portrayer Sean Blakemore has just landed himself a prime role in the upcoming BET pilot, THE YARD!

Deadline is reporting that Blakemore is part of the cast of the two-hour pilot set at a fictional college campus that also includes Anika Noni Rose and Jasmine Guy. THE YARD is executive produced by Felicia Henderson (SINGLE LADIES) and Rob Hardy (EMPIRE).

This is on top of Blakemore’s upcoming appearances in the new season of DEVIOUS MAIDS, so while fans won’t get to see Shawn in Port Charles, they will still be able to see his talented portrayer in action elsewhere!
