Tyler Christopher Temporarily Replaced at GENERAL HOSPITAL by Nick Stabile!

Tyler Christopher is going to be taking some time off from GENERAL HOSPITAL, and an NBC soap vet will be stepping into his role!

“We can officially confirm that the role of Nikolas Cassadine has been temporarily recast by Nick Stabile,” reports a GH rep.

Daytime fans will remember Stabile from his role as Mark on SUNSET BEACH as well as a temporary recast for Justin Hartley (Adam, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS) as Fox on PASSIONS and a stint as Dean on DAYS OF OUR LIVES.

While details surrounding the reason for the recast are still unconfirmed, Daytime Confidential is reporting that Christopher has been in lengthy contract negotiations with GH and asked for some personal time off.

While it appears that this is merely a temporary recast, as soon as any new information is announced, we’ll be sure to let you know, so stay tuned!
